Ski Camp in the Rockies 2014
We had a fun camp this year with Erika and Arnie. I went during the 2nd week this year. We had great weather and even some fresh snow to start off with. Here’s a video I made – I decided to shoot more video instead of just take pictures and I think it turned out alright:
A bunch of us stayed at Grand Timber Lodge in Breckenridge, which we had the whole week. There were plenty of hot tubes (tubs) and it was scenic. The last night, us guys celebrated in the outside hot tub with cigars and bourbon… not a bad ending.
I’m very happy with my skiing so far. I was humbled by all the compliments I got and when we watched video, I was kind of surprised at how I looked out there. I know I’ve been working hard at it and it’s just all been clicking lately – I’m thankful for that. Hard work pays off.
Cascade Mountain has been open already and the regular season starts this Friday, the 28th. Get out skiing or snowboarding while temps are decent so that you can be out there, having fun skiing!
