This is just horrible. They don’t mention if he was wearing a helmet or not but it’s a good idea to wear one.

- Always stay in control.
- People ahead of you have the right of way.
- Stop in a safe place for you and others.
- Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield.
- Use devices the help prevent runaway equipment (straps on ski poles, leashes on snowboards).
- Observe signs and warnings and keep off closed trails (which is the state law in most places).
- Know how to use the lifts safely.
